HAIR CARE INSTRUCTIONS

The correct way to care for your hair

The hair care instructions below will guarantee 2-5 years of longevity for your hair.

Using a wide-tooth comb, gently comb through the hair before wetting.

Add two tablespoons of shampoo to a sink or container with warm or tepid water.

Holding the sides of the cap, immerse the hair for one minute and agitate gently with upward and downward motions at least ten times.

Note: Do not rub the hair.

Change the water and leave the hair in the fresh shampoo water for 5 minutes, then agitate gently with upward and downward motions.

Rinse the hair in lukewarm or tepid water using the same actions you did when washing. Do this until the water is clear.

Add two tablespoons of a deep moisturizing conditioner to the sink filled with lukewarm or tepid water. Immerse the hair for 20 minutes and agitate gently with upward and downward motions.

Note: Do not rub the hair!

Rinse the hair gently by submerging it with upward and downward movements in cool water until the water is clear.

Drain the hair by holding it upward, then place the hair on a towel and pat the wig gently. Do not squeeze or wring.

Apply a leave-in conditioner and a coin size amount of Moroccan argan oil serum or organic olive oil on the hair.

Refrain from combing through when wet. Allow the hair to air dry on a wig stand, mannequin, or slender object with a towel. Styrofoam heads may stretch the cap.

Do not use a blow dryer. Only air dry!

If you must use heat, apply a heat protectant, and dry on the lowest settings. You may gently style the wig with a large-tooth comb or fingers after it is properly dried. Remember to comb from the ends and work your way towards the cap.

How to style your hair: You can use a wide toothcomb or fingertips. You can lightly spritz your hair with water to remove static electricity and return your wig to its original look. You can also use two-coin sizes of Moroccan argan oil serum, organic olive oil, or any of your favorite maintenance products every 3-4 days. Comb the hair gently from the ends and work your way up to the scalp. Note: If you are going to restyle or dye your hair wig completely, we strongly recommend taking your wig to a professional stylist.

Why Does the Hair at the Nape of My Neck Get Tangled?

If you’ve noticed that the hair at the nape of your neck tends to get tangled more quickly than the rest of your hair, you’re not alone. There are a few reasons why this might be the case. For one, the nape of your neck is often in contact with clothing, which can cause friction that leads to tangles.

If you wear a lot of sweaters or scarves, for example, they may be contributing to the problem. Another reason why the hair at your nape might be more prone to tangling because it’s often drier than other parts of your hair. This is because moisture aren’t been applied frequently.

This can lead to dryness, fizziness, and tangles. Finally, if you have long hair, gravity may also work against you while keeping your nape free from tangles. The weight of your hair can pull on the strands at your nape, making them more likely to become twisted and knotted.

Fortunately, you can do a few things to help prevent tangles at your nape. First, try wearing your hair up more often in styles like ponytails or buns with satin hair ties. This will help keep it off your clothing and reduce friction.

Secondly, use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner to help keep your strands hydrated and healthy. And finally, use Moroccan oil and be gentle when brushing or combing through any knots – yanking on them will only make them worse!
